Artist Lakshmi Shankerreddy is a respected US-based artist and art educator. Since the website represented her artistic identity and had to be submitted to an art gallery within a deadline, she wanted full creative involvement in the design process. The entire site was built from scratch using Elementor Pro with the Blocksy theme as the foundation. The project focused heavily on custom layouts, visual presentation, performance, and ease of management. A few lightweight custom code elements were added for visual enhancements, such as the beautiful scroll-to-top button in the footer area, while avoiding heavy custom development that would require ongoing maintenance. The website uses only essential plugins to keep it lightweight, fast, and reliable. The final result achieved strong performance, SEO optimization, responsiveness, and a fully customized design that reflects the artist’s work and style.
